The Local Fish Welcomed Me Back
« on: Nov 21, 2017, 07:19 PM »
Or so it seemed anyway. 8)

It took me almost a week to get caught up from my NY road trip before I could get in a couple of quick outings.  The water temps are dropping from the 40's into the 30's in spots around here, but the bite is still on.

Got a pic of this pileated woodpecker in his own feeding frenzy, then back to chasing stuff with fins.

I was greeted by a mix of freshly stocked fish and others that have been around quite a bit longer.

Beautiful variety of Browns & Brookies Jim. You & Randall don't give the trout species any rest. :)

Gotta love fall colors!  You've been getting into some nice numbers and beautiful fish.
Now, prob for the same reason I can't see squirrels unless they're moving, I can't see the woodpecker in the first pic.
