wife says I can get a Lund if I don't smoke for 6 months.  Now that is motivation.  One would think I could just throw them down.

Im in!! its been 4 days i picked the first day of spring as my "quit date". If my wife said i could get a new boat id have done it a while ago. Im doin it for myself and my kids plus the $$$$ good luck all

My oldest son tells me I have to quit so I can live.  Right now I have this nasty sinus infection so that should help.
Last pack I'll update if I bought another tomorrow.

What I did was one day I decided to quit, so after work I got on the treadmill and ran as far as I could without my lungs freaking out. (not long) Then I went upstairs and tried to smoke a cigarette and it didn't feel great. That was the last time I smoked.   The boat should be pretty good inspiration. And I can tell you I didn't want to have to admit to all the guys on IS that I couldn't do it either

You beat me to it!  Hell, even fishboy's wife or my wife can buy me a Lund if I don't smoke for 6 months.  I better go take a first puff, so I can have the boat in time for fall muskies!

Well walleyechaser, I haven't had a smoke for about two months and I just got a new Lund. I guess I forgot to ask my wife for permission.  Do ya suppose she will forgive me if I take her fishin?

 ;D6 yrs july 4 best thing I did for myself. after 4mos I took and got a 28ft cabin cuiser its payed for by cits money 3 packs a day you do the math.

I just thought I would quit and buy a boat with the money I was saving for an iron lung. Quitting is hard and any incentive is a huge help. Lets keep it up guys.

Lungs for Lunds I like it.

I didn't buy another pack.  I still have a couple left thats going to get me through today.  After that I'm done.
Should have my Lund by October.
