joined ice shanty 2002...first year for myfishfinder....looks like a great spot to be for the open water...jepik 8)

i have the same name for ice shanty and myfishfinder but i will not be on fish finder much casue where i live i still ahve 2 feet of ice to fish on

Talked to a buddy who limited out yesterday just down from 6th St Dam on the Grand on Slammin' Eggs and just got a call from another buddy who's fishing the lower end of the Muskegon out of his boat right now and he's sitting something like 5 for 9 and just missed a hit (on spawn).

Yep, i know they're in at 6th street.  THis early in the year i fish 6th street more, as the fish are much less active with the cold water temps and not many of them will move up stream this early and they kinda just hold in the grand until things warm up a bit.  By the looks of the weather we should be getting a good run here in the next week.  Melt all the snow and get some warm rain and warmer water temps.  Slammerman u r one lucky dude!! I wish i knew how to get into the steelies like that throught the ice!! I think we went over this tho on IS! ;D
