If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

A little quick research reveals that there is such a thing as a "Yellow Bass"

Species Facts

Science Name:    Morone mississippiensis
Other Names:    Striper
Ideal Temp:    75 to 82
Environment:    lakes
Techniques:    medium tackle

The yellow bass or barfish, Morone mississippiensis, is a freshwater fish native to the south and midwestern United States. Though sometimes confused with white bass or striped bass, it is distinguished by its yellow belly and the broken pattern in its lowermost stripes. The species name "mississippiensis" refers to the Mississippi River, where it was first described and is still most commonly found. Yellow bass reach an average length of 28 cm (11 in).

Who Knew ???

One more Bass species to add to your hate list Peter.
