What is this?

The other day I was fishing 40 feet deep for white fish in Lake Superior and this bug hit the camrea. Never seen anything like this under water. Anyone seen this before?

Looks like a normal water bug, we used to get them in the pool some times when I was a kid.

i build and rebuild pools for a living, and that is just a typical waterbug, they are in pools all the time (that arent chlorinated)
