Here's one for you..  I didn't catch it on rod and real, but I did use a hand line... ;D ;D   We were spring fishing 1 week after ice out and drifting in 10 feet of water when I saw a flash off the bottom. So I got on the electric motor and got over it...   In the clear water I was able to drop the anchor down and hook the ski of this... ;D ;D

A brand new Yamaha Nitro... ;D   Tied the anchor rope off and drug itclose enough to shore and threw the rope up and the 6 of us landed it.... ;D ;D

No we left it there...   3 years earlier we found a Skido Rev in almost the same spot which we never touched. And when I got home I called the DEC to see if we could salvage it and they said we could get in trouble for touching it.. Why I don't know..  But this one we just had to see if we could get it out so we did.. ;D ;D
When I got home I called and told them someone had abandoned a sled in so and so spot on so and so lake..

I could have never registered it, what if the owner reported it stolen after he sunk it.Than I would get in trouble.   And it was registered in New Jersey.  We found it way up in the Adirondacks...  And I'm sure after the DEC checked it out they reported it to the troopers to see if the owner was still alive and not on the bottom of the lake... ;D ;D

Nto really weird, but yesterday, while trolling for lakers,
I picked up a large flatfish with trolling sinker and dodger still attached. About 20 bucks
worth of tackle.

Hooked a tennis shoe in the river and about a hour later caught a towel. About a week later hooked a fishing pole with reel line and the head of a minnow type lure attached.
