Was able to sneak out after a long day of chores. With the cold front coming, they were chomping at the bit. Threw back a bunch of dinks, had fun with a few smallmouth and have a meal or two for my efforts.

Thanks all, brown is from the Battenkill. Learned to fly fish there as a teenager and still produces some nice fish now and then.

Nice fish Bart.  My best wild brown to date was from the battenkill.  Hard river to fish but it has its spots.  Wicked hard river to wade if the flow is up.
