I got a guy!  ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I think I know a guy that knew a guy that might have known......... Just about to pull them out R and D. They have been working real well I've had good luck with them as well as the people that have used them.

I'll have to post some of the patterns I've been tying on them. Just too busy today with spring planting and projects.

Personally I think they're one of the best designs I've ever seen. The way they swim in use and the way they adapt to all kinds of patterns  for jigs  as well as flies is amazing.

It is a crossover jig.

Anyone go to the fishing show in Dryden ? Lots of good stuff. I scored a bunch of fly tying thread and some Orvis beaded eye chain for .25 each.

Where abouts is that? I've heard it's a treasure trove of old fishing stuff. I have a couple things I'm thinking of selling.

It's at the Community Center right in town. Check the Watkins glen chamber of commerce web site. Info about it is on there. :thumbup_smilie:

Oh yeah Rg, those shows in Watkins Glen are awesome. I hit a few years ago. I used to scoop up old handmade trolling spoons made around NY years ago. I just found a brass one one the other day made in Van Etten, NY.

I'm also thinking those corn flies made in white, for a simulated marshmallow, might be good for the rainbows in Skaneateles along with a nice fresh nightcrawler or garden worm...I've tried a couple of times lately and had no luck yet... :(
