Looking for a Yellow Jigging Pole
« on: Sep 13, 2006, 06:42 PM »
I know I should probably post this on the shanty, but there is more traffic here at the moment and if I don't find one I'll ask over there,  there has got to be one out there some where....    As you all know,  I've become known for my Yellow Fishing Pole that is way to big for the little brookies I started my open water season with....  what I am looking for is a Yellow Jigging Pole to continue the tradition on the hard stuff,  I have spent many many hours researching and looking but I am having no luck...  so my question is if any of you guys see one or come across one could you let me know,  it would be much appreciated.....  I have even though about calling Shakespeare to see if they would make one for me...   I am looking for hopefully a light or ultra light,  but beggers can be choosers...Thanks Guys....

I've had that thought,  but I'm not very good with finish work....   I even though about putting a cork clamp on handle on the top half of ol' yeller...   but at 4 foot it would be a mighty big jigging rod.....  if all else fails that is my backup plan..... ;)

Contact Thorne Bros, they make custom jigging rods, some of the finest anywhere. You never know, thats where I would start. If they cant do it, I bet they could steer you to someone who could......  $$$$$$ ;D

Cant hurt to ask ;)

Eagle Claw is made by Shakespeare.... ;) and they were the first spot I looked...  no go on yellow...   I think I remember seeing some made by HT but they were the buzz version and I think it was just a yellow tip....  Thanks Skipper, Oldken, and Grump....  the search is on..... ;D
