here in Wisconsin it is against the law to shoot an albino deer. although i have never seen one in the wild, I have seen captive animals. they are really beautiful. nice pics RG. thanks for sharing them with us.

The Seneca heard is a neat thing.

On one place that I hunt a nice white buck has been spotted several times. Weird how he can hide so well during daylight hours.

My Old Man has a 10 point white deer on his wall that he shot just outside of Potsdam back in the early 90's

Rg,

What great info and pics. The first thing that stands out when I see them is the ears. Sorta almost like a mule deer. They truely are special.  I always drive slow on my way to and from Sampson to check them out. We have a herd on Wellesley Island where I grew up that  has the larger than normal ears. I am thinking being on the island they may have adapted over the years. And, I don't mean to try and avoid me and my family!
