Pike for sure....but I actively fish for steelhead, salmon when they are in, bass, walleye and catfish.

I am a trout purist.  I like to catch all species, but if given the choice I will go for any species of trout/salmon/char over any other.

You are right Fatboy,  I probably would like to catch them.  I don't have enough time to fish as it is so I don't go for other species.  If it wiggles,  I am psyched!!! :D  I have hooked into some monster underwater branches that gave a heck of a fight,  only dissapointed after I find out it's not a fish.

Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth, I use to do a lot of Stripper fishen on the surf but I moved to N.E. Pa. 2 year's ago and now it's to far to travel, so I give up the Stripper's Plus my back went south so I cant jump the rock's anymore. Sometime's I'll sit on a bucket and fish for Carp & caty's.

For food, perch and walleye can't be beat, but for C&R, I'll take salmonids anytime! The best species of all to fish for is the one thats biting!!        Andy

Trout, pike, eyes, and whatever is left.

I will give the nod to walleye, there is a certain feeling that goes along with a nice walleye. For the summer and most action, bass all the way. Top water is a fave, followed by texas rigged plastics, I love a good chunker in the weeds in about 15 fow.
