buy and far, my favorite has to be panfish. catching them on an ultralite rig with 4# test is a lot of fun. I do fish for bass, walleye and northern also. Wisconsin has a lot of different opportunites for the angler, hard or soft water.

It would have to be the largemouth.  Although I like catching species, probably 80% of my fishing is for bass.   Favorit lures would have to be the jig and pig and the Yamamoto worm.

trout! Warm water fish are a lot of fun when looking for steady action or a short trip.

I love to fish for trout period, but the Landlocked Salmon is the fish I admire the most... From their subtle to violent takes and the airial sunts they perform, you just set the hook and enjoy the ride...

Walleyes is the main open water fish i target. Also smallies and rainbows. Catch them (all) in as little as 9'' of water and mostly on jigs. You cant like smallie fishing and not like rainbow fishing. The smaller bows(3 to 6 pounders) are like smallies on steroids with their arial displays and upstream drag burning runs, cool 8)

I like to fish for anything that will bite. Started out fishing streams where I grew up and migrated to pond fishing from shore as the kids grew.

Still like to fish for them panfish.

Smallmouth and Walleyes in rivers and perch in lakes. But I will fish for anything that swims, as long as it
it fishing.

I guess if it was only one species that I would have to pick then it would be brook trout but I like them all . ;D
