H2l thanks for the info I will be going Thursday with my cousin. At least you didn't get the skunk, are the perch still around? ATC good luck from shore.

I didn't stay in the area that had the perch for very long. There were a lot of bait fish but only a few fish on them. There wasn't much wind today and the only good wind was out of the East and that didn't last very long. Never liked the East wind. Good Luck on Thursday...h2l

We got the skunk too, don’t feel so bad. But we had an enjoyable time wetting lines.

Better luck next time!

ATC, it was a nice day. I grew up just outside the campsite, my Uncle built the marina back in the '50's and sold it in the '80's. When I was a kid there was no campsite. The bay where the launch is has produced some nice pike in the Springtime....h2l

Very cool H2L, that marina is packed every year. We’re gonna bike from out camp to the boat launch and/or beach for the night bite. Biking helps burn the calories from eating camp food!

H2L you may be able to help me fish for something else, given your history here on the lake. The princess wants a GSL hoodie, is there a local store that sells GSL clothing?

Check out Adirondack County Store in Northville, the 5 and 10 and Topps. There is also a place (not sure of their hours) on Rt. 30 across from The Ice Cream Tree but if you stop there you may need another bike ride....h2l

Thanks for the tips! Topps had some but not her size. Will definitely check out the other places.

She finally landed her first GSL fish after several hours of casting the past few days. A decent bass. I got the skunk, but as I told her a good captain puts others on fish!

Adirondack Country Store was the winner. She couldn’t decide between two so she got two. Also grabbed a GSL magnet for the fridge.

Thanks again for the information, H2L

Iceman, it has been a tough year so far. They have to be there somewhere. I know I haven't found very many. It got a little breezy in the afternoon. I saw that you were out early...h2l

Fished tonight 6:30-8:30 fished a spot I'd been marking fish on previous trips and they were on the feed. My wife and I had our limit of walleyes and caught at least 10 short fish plus we lost a bunch. All on worm harnesses I ended up putting a stinger off my harness which seemed to help keep the fish hooked a little better. We were in 20-24fow

Way to go BBB. When I trolled harnesses, I used a stinger often, made a big difference in the number of hook-ups. Good report....h2l
