Fly Pattern you don't use much anymore
« on: Mar 23, 2022, 02:37 PM »
What are some of the fly patterns that you used to use frequently but no longer carry with you, or rarely use?  I used to travel out to Idaho and Wyoming for work and got in to using b***h creek flies, which worked great I just don't see them in NY.  When I was first getting started I used to use muddlers all the time but have definitely gotten away from those in the last few years.

Used to rely on a Mickey Finn more than any other. Haven’t carried one in years.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Wooly Worm, wooly buggers just work better most of the time.
