Opening Day in Southern AB.
« on: May 08, 2006, 06:06 PM »
Finally! Once again we can fish the South Saskatchewan River. Went out early in the AM to try my luck. On goldeye, one walleye, and a red fin sucker for 5 hours of fishing. Lots of bites though. Very nice morning until the gale force winds blew in.  Just in case your wondering, It was way to early in the morning to try and set the date of the camera correctly, Should really read the 8th. :-[

Good on ya Pigshanks. I heard about the wind on the weekend.

Heading out to C.V. for the long weekend. Hope to get into some decent Pike and Walleye.
