my buddy and I went 3 for 7 today in the Albany area, with a 27'', 24'', and a shorty, a bunch of cats and 2 dink whitey's. It took about 3 hours to get a herring and THAT sealed the deal. That was the only herring we boated. Water temp was same as stated in previous post.

can someone tell me , where there is a boat launch and a baitshop thats close to the launch in the albany area! so we can get a few tips for fishing stripers ! its are first time  doing this type of fishing! any input would be greatly appreciated!

conroys bait and tackle watervite mike is a very nice guy if you go tell him 30 40 sent you . he will tell you where to gbo good luck

I've got to make my way south and try for some Stripers... I live in the Glens falls area and don't get the chance to fish for them around here.

Havnt posted on a while because iv been redoing the interior ofmy boat but its all done and ill be afterthem later in the week. Still think we have another week untoll the main run but what do I know. I'll ne trying some new tactics this year and can't wait.
