I got out for a hour and a half this afternoon, and it was modestly more productive than my past few forays.
I fished the South Hoosic from Cheshire Harbor in Cheshire to a little past Elm Rock in Adams.
Mostly sunny, 73 degrees, light breeze. Water levels were close to what I would consider optimal.
I didn't have any action until I reached the footbridge a little below the Burnett Bednarz Bridge, where I caught a 10" rainbow.
Further downstream, I landed a 9" brown just above the bridge next to the Old Stone Mill.
Finallly, I reeled in a 12" rainbow below the waterfall just downstream from Elm Rock, before heading back to my car.
