Had our first (hopefully not our last) fish fry of the season. Cooked up 2 walleye, 3 bass (2 largemouth and 1 smallie), and 2 rock bass. Invited my friend we took fishing a couple weeks ago. The bass were great, the rock bass were bland, and the walleye did indeed fit the bill of something that tasted like chicken. One thing I might try next time is catching more perch (although it doesn't seem likely this year), bullhead, bass, actually try catching walleye, and panfish. All in all great experience. My friend said the bass were best. Anyway, my lures were too big Sunday when the fish catching and loss calamity hit so I will just have to modify that and maybe next fish fry will have more fish.
