1st decent fish this year

It's been a slow start for me but managed to pull this guy out of the river on Monday.

Thanks guys, it was my first pike over 20" and it was one  of a time bringing him in.

What did he hit on?

I got him with a large shiner on a slip sinker setup with a floating jig head.
