We got about 5 doz or more last night. Private Creek. They were starting to run heavier around 10:30 but I had to go take care of my old lady after work. Good luck to those of you who have access to areas to smelt in waters that still have them. We caught a walleye in the mouth of our area. He was probably about 6lbs and 28". Wasn't moving to fast that's for sure, we moved him out of the mouth and the smelt ran better, lol. Would love to catch him next month on a line.

smelt start to run heavy somewhere around 42 degrees, was out last night, two different creeks, not a smelt.

Hit Lewiston this past Saturday at approximately 11:00pm. Smelt were thin. we had to work for our dips. Left around 2:00am with a half of a five gallon bucket full. It completely shut down at 1:30am. Good size smelt. Nice night, met a few nice guys out there. Thanks for all the tips fellas

I was at Ensinor at Owasco lake this place is now closed. If you go there you will be ticketed for trespassing unless you get permission. Some not so nice people started fires and leaving beer cans and garbage there.I have permission and still picked up garbage. what a shame
