Salmon?

Anyone out there ever gotten any Domestic Atlantic Salmon?  I was reading that the state record was caught at Barber's a few years back. Just wondering if anyone targets them or are they a "lucky catch" kind of fish?

those are winter stocked salmon the state gets them after they have been milked out for spawn

I've seen them caught at carbuncle before. Right after ice out, on spoons and shallow crankbaits. there a tuff breed to snag !
