Skunked!  I sure wish I set up my other rod and swung wet flies...oh well!

Fished the Farmington yesterday from 6 to 10am and caught a half dozen.  Picked up my daughter and later we did a mission from 5-7 on the housatonic...caught a dozen bows and a nice brown.  I think they were eating fall sulphurs.  Was nice to finally get on some trout near home.

It was nice Jim.  She made a little holding area where a bow would sit for a bit before she let it go.  Good stuff.  More to come this weekend!

Good luck Jon!  These shorter evenings along with work and family obligations have been a recipe for lack of fishing on my part recently as well.  Been picking up a few fish here and there but they've all been abbreviated outings.

Low flow but was able to nail a couple last night.












Fell in again last week....filled the waders.   Cold and wet!

My employer doesn't celebrate Columbus Day  but I got out a little early and shot down to Riverton.  Was the water chocolate milk where you fished?  I don't know if they had a water release or if it rained really hard in the morning but I couldn't believe how muddy the water was.  I got a decent rainbow tossing a 4 inch articulated streamer.  Forgot the nice buggers on the tying bench.

Still sitting on the vise......
