Here is a pic of my personal best eye. 28" and just under 11#'s I got her on a swedish pimple tipped with a live small shiner just before the season closed back in 2003. The hardest thing about landing this fish was my brother in law had to scale down the ladder at a lock in NY to get the fish. there was even a little skim of ice on the water. I believe she was a female FULL and after the quick snap shot she was released. I know there are bigger out there but in my home state of Massachusetts it would of been just under the state record. New York has some good fishing.

Wow...what do they feed fish down there...this weekend I caught a 28 inch walleye and it was only 6+lbs, your fish was 5lbs heavier...crazy
