Can't take credit for the finished product. Just the legs and feet.

Does that sound kind of strange....or is it just me?

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

No worries on the fly tying Bob, so long as we're staying active doing things we like to do.

Legs and feet? You're the podiatrist of woodworking  ;D  Looks great.

Thanks Bart. I'm certainly doing what I enjoy. Maybe eating a bit too much of my good cooking..... but....life is good. And..I am definitely going to get back to the bench....all in good time.

Next on the bench is a fly pattern I found in a magazine some time back. It's supposed to be an isonychia  nymph but can double as any big nymph. The grey ostrich herl ribbing, with a counter wrap of gold wire,  brings it to life. It was the hot ticket for my son and I on the Delaware River border water  last week during the warm spell.

They look great Sean, have a great time and don't forget to pack the sunblock while the rest of us fight off the frost bite.

Take some pics,
Bart

They look good BG.

I'm back at it but I'm all over the place tying various patterns, with  a good number of parachutes in different sizes and colors.

I like the leech pattern a lot. Some big brown is gonna think it's lunch time.

That's actually a tarpon fly.  I'm headed to the keys with my sons this spring but based on my research on tarpon, I stand a much better chance of landing a big brown on it.

Tying some buggers. My go-to bugger is a mammoth size 2 cone head (black) but I wanted something smaller in my box so I tied these in a size 6.
