Scrambled eggs, with potatoes, onions, mushrooms, ham, and extra sharp cheddar cheese in it.

I smothered mine with ketchup.

And a bourbon manhoot.

Strip steak on the Weber with potatoes and green beans.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Pot of chili on the stove. Thought the guys at work might like some tomorrow. Gonna be a cool damp day for mowing.

Might have to sample some for dinner.

My wife came home from work early with a bad sinus cold. I've got a pot of chicken stock simmering on the stove . She said the house smells amazing and crashed on the couch. Homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. She does so much to help me , this is just a small thank you.

Chicken noodle soup is good for the body and soul. Hope she feels better. I’m sure the soup will help.

Works every time.

Have a nice pot of Minestrone on the stove. Gotta love soup weather.

And for the record I’ve now lost 50 lbs as of this morning. When I look up at the picture on our wall from our 50 th anniversary two years ago, I just have to wonder why it took me so long to get wise.

We've been souping it up too, pulling the last of the kale and butternut squash from the garden.  Wife made kale soup with hot Italian sausage and potatoes and then butternut squash soup with some added kale. We're going to miss the garden.
