The old barn getting brought back to life
« on: Jul 12, 2023, 07:21 AM »

My barn built in late 1800s early 1900 as you see attached barn came down…Amish starting today replacing beams and putting steel roof on…with my mill I’ll be cutting all siding and put on myself…also when done pouring a floor 20x24’ and building a shop …I’ll keep progress reports and pictures at end of each day ( without Amish in them) respectively because of there beliefs

That's great. I love old barns. most are works of art. It never ceases to amaze me how people could build a barn without nails, bolts, or screws that could stand over 200 years in some cases. It is sad to see them fall down from neglect.
Good luck with yours.

Looking good Ben.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
