Spoon's fishing pics
« on: Jun 04, 2006, 10:52 PM »
first family soft water trip of the year.  we went gillin & grillin.  not the best day of fishing buy managed 25 keepers.  still a great day on the water.  this is a trip we take every year.  less fish this year but over all size was better.

pic of the inpoundment we were fishing. taken from the island we ate our shore lunch at.

my daughter enjoying her lunch.

some of the gills & sunfish we caught. good eating. ;D

good day with the family and got a sun burn to  :'(  notice some of the colors in the gills.  pics don't due justice.
the daughter had i'm guessing a 10lb bowfin grab a sunfish while she was bringing it in.  it finally let go right at the boat.  camera was in a bag and could not get a pic in time.   its the sunfish in the pic above.  the bottom left fish on the cooler.

fish on!

Looks like a great day on the water!!!  We've had nothing but rain her for the last 2 weekends, so haven't gotten out.  Then again, have had too many home projects to deal with as well.... :P

Definately some nice gills too.
Life is what you make it...and if that doesn't work stretch the truth 'til it at least sounds good.

here are some pics from the U.P trip.  the weather was hot(98-99) and the flies were real bad but we managed a few nite fishing trips.  no real big ones but not bad for a total of 7 hrs fishing in three trips.  we caught 4 eyes with three keepers and a throw back. some decent smallies to.

son and daughter with some eyes.

this was a practice pic since my only entry got DQ'ed for glare on the card.

 walleye fillets off the grill.mmmm

pics of the bigger smallies. wife caught the biggest 17 1/2".

pics of our camp and some scenery shots

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!
