I got out on two streams in my area late this morning/early this afternoon.
T'was another beautiful day in the neighborhood - - sunny, blue skies, 70 degrees - - and the rivers were still cool but low.
First up was the North Branch of the Hoosic in North Adams. I fished a football field long section below the Eclipse Mill dam and did well - - catching four rainbows ranging from 9" to 12".
Then I drove over to the Main Branch and tried two different spots. My first spot, by the Ashton Avenue bridge in North Adams, didn't produce, but at my second, behind the former Spruces Mobile Home Park in Williamstown, I connected with a 14" rainbow.
