I was fishing for cats in the river using live frogs and to my surprise  I caught 2 walleye.

i have used frogs for walleye. trolling a spinner and bottom bouncer. caught a few nice ones.
not as effective as minnows or night crawlers, but they do work at certain times of the year.

They work well in fall when frogs are returning to lakes and rivers for the winter.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
