Depends on your applications i guess.

I use 10# berkley big game for trolling using inline planer boards or for traditional big board fishing with releases.

When it comes to my BB rods, i run 20# Power Pro on those because its thin and gets my BB to the bottom with less line out because it is thinner in diameter and has less blow back. Braid is another good option for running cranks deep, as well as dipseys, mini disks or jets if you have to get them deep. If your not fishing overly deep, then the mono will work on the jets and mini disks as well.

Thanks

I would be using the big boards with releases and BB. This will be new for me. I'm getting my first boat and plan on targeting walleye.  Not to deep 10' to 20'.

The big game will serve you well then. Good luck out there. Anymore questions dont be affraid to ask. Most of my fishing on the open water is done primarily on the Great Lakes with trolling applications.

I fish braid to the 3 way swivel, then I use 10lb mono for the dropper and 10 lb vanish for the lure of choice...
