Well Mac, just take out a loan and tell your Bride  that I apologize in advance ;D

Donna gave up a long time ago on my spending for fishing and boating equipment.
When I bought the new Lund 2 years back she talked me into the Rebel XL instead of the Fury.
About a $10K increase in cost.

You can't take it with you Bob.
And I ain't leaving crap for my kids.
Just used up fishing gear.

 ;D

I looked into it Trapper.,been doing it for years. Didn't know it had a name. Kinda like "dropshotting" ..........somebody gave it a name and all of a sudden it's the sound bite of fishing.

They're  1/80 or 1/64, I don't really remember what I bought.

Here's another carp pattern I'm working on. A swimming nymph.
I have a pic tutorial, I'll skip the explanations.if you want any directions , I'll be happy.

been  short line  nymphing  all  my  life   easy way  and  affective  way to  fish  pocket  water ,I  think  this  is  why i'm addicted  to a  indicator  .....it's  accounted  for  a  whole  lot  of  trout   but a  amazing  amount of  early season smallies  as well

What about a Tenkara setup Trap? Sure seems simple enough to me. Same principal, longer Rod, more line control. Not sure what you do with a real runner, but, could be fun ;D

Nah, I see the chartreuse pretty well in the morning and afternoon light. I like orange or pink during the day though. I pretty much use pink on hoppers and the like.

Time for new lenses Trap ;D
