Well, I made it as far as her introduction on that video...  She was yapping something like "you need to live life on the EDGE, like halfway between heaven and hell".  I couldn't make it much farther.  Does that sentance even make sense?

If you are on the edge, how can you be halfway between things?   ???

But if you're a Jerry fan 'Dacker, I respect your musical tastes enough to take your word for it when it comes to Gaga

I thought the SPAC show was great.  But then again, I am an old man    I think the youg punks thought it was too mellow.

John K on "Wharf Rat" was exceptional...  And Phil covered some Pink Floyd too.  Great night on the lawn, as usual.  Super fun crowd.

Best show of the month though was Yonder Mtn String Band and Umprey's Mcgee at the Saranac Brewey a few night prior.

What a RAGER...  Best $25 I've spent in quite awhile.  Further was only $25 also, and worth every penny by a longshot.

As for Bobby, he is rocking the "Midnight Ramble" at Levon's house on Friday night.  I bet it will be amazing.  Bobby is playing the Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock the next night too.  Sadly, both performances sold out in about five minutes.  I will just go camping  :-X

I still haven't caught any of Levons' Rambles.  But he gets some amazing musicians.  It is a pricey evening, but the idea of eating dinner at Levon Helm's house and then sitting in the living room listening to world-class musicians play with a living legend is tempting.

He has had everyone there...  Moe, Grace Potter, Sam Bush,  you name it.  A "Midnight Ramble" is surely on my bucket list.

Nice, Red!!!  Thanks Bud!!!

I haven't heard those dudes yet, but that's some fine local talent!

Might have to check them out sometime soon.  Also, Donna The Buffalo is at Putnum Den in Saratoga next Saturday.  If you are around and want to catch 'em, let me know.  I'm headed there after a party in Clifton Park.  And the Ryan Montbleau Band is in town a week or two after.  Always worth checking out.
