Did some casting last night, the lake is pretty low, and where I usually get them is where I was standing. Shot a light out there and it was the dead sea. I got 3 walleyes in my first 3  casts on New years eve about 10 years ago, not going to come close in this spot this year. Might go try a different spot tonight. 🤔

Boating in winter is pretty comfortable. Took grandson out yesterday for some perch.
Fred’s getting some of those one eyed perch where he’s fishing.

Great fishing guys! Early ice and open water!..it doesn't get any better than that. Reeleyz, you and your boys have a great life ahead of you living on Oneida Lake, of course you know that already; but the boys will be fishing machines out there, open water or on the ice!
