It seems like it's a "good thing/bad thing" scenario....
The weather seems to be in a good pattern with nice weekend weather, but we seem to be getting quite a bit of rain during the week.
Water levels are high, but the currents on many smaller rivers prevents slow drift or staying in one spot for more than a minute.
Heck, on the Charles River in Dedham, I cannot go up river because the current flowing under that first bridge is too strong to paddle against.
In my 5-10 years of fishing that section of river I've NEVER had that experience before.
This may be a banner year for mosquitos as well, as there are more "wetlands" than before that are STAYING wet....
Hopefully something will be able to benefit from these unusual conditions.
