Go to the Masswildlife web site. then scroll down to the fishing section ,click on Quabbin regs and al the info is there. there are a few rules so check it out carefully before you go, for example if you are launching a boat you need to wear rubber boots when you step in the water, stuff like that

Tight lines good luck

If you are expecting to rent a boat out of one of these gates in the month to month and half after the "Big Lady" opens get outside the gate EARLY!!! especially on weekends. The gates usually open at 6am and there will be cars starting to line up at 4:30.Driving there and not be able to get a rental can be frustrating - that decided for me years ago into buying a boat.Gate8 off of 202 is known for cold water species, while gate 31 and 43(Harwick) has a mix of both cold and warmwater fish.Quabbin is a BIG body of water and you may not experience banner fish catching days right off,but if you ask questions,be watchful of other fishermen(BUT BE COURTEOUS),and put in your time on the water, you will be rewarded.Personal best for me at Quabbin  16lb laker,6.5 lb salmon,6lb smallmouth,3lb white perch,4.5 Rainbow.

Good Luck - Good Fishing
