It'll probably start when the weather warms up more. It's still a little cold. If the weather stays warm long enough it'll start sooner.

I fished the R.I. Fed Trail tourney at Johnsons Pond in R.I. this past Sunday 4/24 and people were catching largmouths off beds. The lunker 6lbs even came from a bed. The water temp topped 60 degrees by the after noon. You might see some beds in so eastern mass by this weekend.

I have not seen any beds as of yet, if it would only stop raining and the sun would stay out for a few days they will start to bed down.

I saw a couple of beds in a shallow cove on Webster lake last weekend.  In fact there was a pair sitting on one bed, and I was bouncing everything in the tackle box at 'em, and they weren't even looking at it!!
