Next door neighbor works doing remodeling. Brought me 2 totes full of Doug fir 2x4 cutoffs. I’ll make good use of those. Then he gave me 4 8’ Doug fir 2x4s he had in his garage. Good neighbor.

Went downstairs to do some work this morning and just knew it was time for a thorough clean out. Been in a toy making frenzy the past couple months. Spent most of the day sorting, sifting, organizing, cleaning and generally getting the shop in shape. Felt pretty good about the way it looked when I was done.

Saturday I’ll get on to the next toy project.

I have a staircase trim carpenter friend of mine on save all pine scrap wood detail. That will load you up for awhile!!😁 He has two finish trim crews. I’m sure you won’t be lacking for pine soon.😎

Haven’t done much in the shop the past few days. Made a peg jump game for a nice lady at the market, and have a few more ready to finish.

She’s been buying toys from me for her grandkids Christmas presents. Last week she asked if I ever made any of them. So I’ll surprise her with one next week. We skipped market yesterday. Windy and cold and my Son was working late punching greens.

Only a couple more weeks at the course so I’ll have a bunch of time on my hands to fish and play in the shop. I’ll miss the course though. It’s been interesting and really fun. I’ll be anxiously waiting for spring.

Started in on half a dozen wood biplanes. Should be interesting.

Another squadron ready for flights of imagination.

In the natural order of my methods, the next ones will probably be much bigger :P

Fun stuff on a misty rainy day. Hope it straightens out tomorrow. 3 1/2” of rain the past 2 days.

Thanks! They were fun.
Next Tuesday is the last market day. Didn’t go yesterday. Misty rain all day long. Can’t let my stuff get wet.
