Aquavu question-- stability on canoe
« on: Apr 11, 2018, 10:16 AM »
Just got the Aquavu Micro Revolution and plan to deploy it on a canoe this spring.  It would be so cool to see my bait as the perch come up to it.  However, dropping it over the side, it seems it's gonna be spinning like crazy, even with a weight on it, as that wire is pretty thin.

Anyone use these for fishing and how do you set it up for stability?

I have a hard enough time making the camera still when I'm using it in the ice shack! Wish I could help.

 10-4 Jethro and as the owner of a couple of canoes I've found them "challenging" at best as a fishing platform! But, ya gotta do what ya gotta do! I have enough challenges using my Marcum 485 under the ice! I think dock fishing with a camera would be a doable and fun thing but keeping it pointed at your presentation in open water from an unstable platform.....mmmm. :(

Maybe some sort of L bracket that hangs over the side and keeps it snug and wont allow it to spin?
