Eagle Fish ID II help
« on: Mar 10, 2004, 10:55 AM »
I have an Eagle Fish ID II that I get out of the mothballs and dust off just often enough to barely maintain rookie status in it's use.

Where can I look to learn some more about using it. Have tried several internet searches with no real luck.

Anyone have one that could pass on your advice? I know the ID feature can be deactivated for ice fishing, someone demonstrated how this was useful to him while ice fishing.

Thanks,

I was able to download the manual for my eagle from eagle's website. Have you tried there yet?

VCC,

Took a look around on their site. I think my unit is an older style than what they have on the site now.

Thanks,

I just got an Eagle Fish I.D. II portable from a church rummage sale.

It appears to work ok, but it didn't come with a manual. I have searched on-line

for it with no luck. I would be happy to pay for postage if anyone could send me a copy.

Are you guys sure you've got the model number correct?  Just did a quick search, and I can't find anything refering to a Fish ID II.  Closest I can find is a Fish ID 128 or a Fish ID Plus.

The Fish ID 128 manual can be downloaded here (about half-way down the page):

http://www.eaglegps.com/Downloads/Manuals/default.asp

Maybe not exactly the same, but maybe close enough to give you some ideas.

Yes, it is a Fish I.D. II.  I have the origional box, just not the directions.

I allready checked Eagles site, the Fish I.D. II is very different than anything listed .

My finder has 12 buttons, a lot more than the ID 128 or ID Plus.

This unit is about eight to ten years old.
