Apparently the snowflakes had a meltdown! They can be a little TOUCHY hehehe 8) :o :rotflol: :flag:

Haven’t had a chance to see if the price went up on them yet at the local fishing gear place. They ARE more now on-line. I’ll look tomorrow after clamming. If they haven’t gone up there, I’ll buy a winter and a summer pair.

Caught three small crappies today and a few small white perch.

Just checked on line. Now $20+ more than a month ago for insulated or ankle fit Lacrosse Big Chiefs.

I can see where part of tomorrow’s paycheck is going. I NEED the insulated ones. Can wait til next year for the ankle fit summer ones.

Lacrosse is indeed a nice boot, with several different varieties of insulation to choose from

For clamming I really need the ankle fit ones. The mud sucks off anything not tight. I haven’t seen any other variety that has ankle fit and that holds up to daily 3 - 5 hour use.

My 2nd pair the first ones lasted me 12 years. I don't use them everyday the way you do.been stuck kneedeep and they have not been sucked off my feet.

That Strikemaster looks like a fantastic auger! 10" electric?? Beauty!

I had bad luck with my LaCrosse Alpha Burleys, they cracked at the top where it flexes, big hole in the 2nd year. I did patch it, they still work and are water tight, but it was a bummer. They don't seem to fit me as well as the Muck boots, so that might be part of the problem.

Got here yesterday. Ain’t it pretty!

Bought an extra battery for it from Glen’s Outdoors for $89.95. On sale,  I guess. Probably last year stock.... Regular $149. Everywhere else was $159 or more. May not need the battery, but I’d feel foolish w/o it.  :o :thumbup_smilie: :flag:

All made in China......
