You got a 12-inch perch in Pine. I have caught hundreds none over 9. Conrats, haven't been to Pine in years. Guess this is the time to go. Soon you will have to fish Stone because the pleasure boats will be waking water everywhere. Know a guy who goes after northerns using 8-inch suckers and does very well.

Way to go Den58...  you are making me think of all the springs I would launch at Stone and plan to go to Pine only to find the crappies pretty thick in Stone and ran out of time to go to Pine...  I do remember doing well in the spring at Pine fishing along the road/beach to the right as you come into the lake from the tube from Stone. May have to go back and fish some memories...

Good luck. I might be going on Saturday. WEATHER PERMITTING. Where do you get bait? Does the guy with the cats still sell bait? I guess there is the country bait. Also, Gracy's still around by the monument's gravestones north side of Pine?

Are there any bait stores open around Pine. Know there used to be a bait/cat house on the road just past parking area for Stone. Haven't fished there in quite a few years. Just wondering if he was still in business?
