Glen, that is a beautiful salmon, what a football! 180 ft. Wow... didn't know they occupied such depths...

Did you weigh it to 4 lbs? Or just a guestimate? Looks quite bigger than 4 lbs to me.

Hardest fight i've ever had on a fly rod was from a Sebago salmon, felt like it could take me into my backing (got about half way there) on my 6 wt.

There was actually a bunch of them down there, we caught 4 more that looked just like that one but smaller, it was pretty crazy.

It could have been heavier, my digital scale was broken and my mechanical scale isn't very accurate.

3 out of the 4 pictures are the same salmon.  :o

The first and third photo are almost the exact same photo. Just zoomed in slightly. It was a photogenic fish, come on man!

no pics but first descent salmon of the year, needed to get it released quickly as that seasons over. looked to be just over 5 pounds, dark male with hooked jaw.  14 togue in the garden and one slot togue released. whodathunk this in perch would be the lure of choice

what a weird year for lure selection.  i need to tie a few of those streamers before wrecking them, i have that blue hair, looking for the yellow and white.  i did put them in the water, nice action to them
