Anyone ever go offshore for Tuna? I'm going on an overnighter in Sept. with some friends. We'll be fishing with The Canyon Runner out of Pt. Pleasant New Jersey. 95 miles out to the Canyons......WHOOOOEEEE!!!!  8)

Yes,

Haven't been in a few years but it's a trip. I've gone out of Rhode Island.   

Nothing like being that far out on the ocean. I've been out there when it was dead calm and from the top in the crow's nest you could look down and see the schools of yellowfin come up to the surface.

If you've never been out that far before, have your doctor prescribe you the transderm scop patch (scopolamine). Even if you've never been seasick before, it'll save a trip if the seas get rough (and they do get rough). I've been on a few canyon trips and also fished off the coast of Baja Mexico for yellowfin. You'll have a ball, good luck!
