Early season trolling

  Hooked up with my friend Robbieq16 on sunday. He had picked up some goodies at the Rockland show last week and wanted to know if I wanted to do some early season trolling with him at Wawayanda . Our target was holdover brown trout . We got to the lake around 10:30. We launched his boat and proceeded out past the beach area. We stayed in the nearer basin {60 ft) and trolled for approx.3 1/2 hrs. We were using 2downriggers and 2 flat lines. After 2 hrs. Robbie  hooked up our first fish, a22 inch holdover brown approx. 5/6 lbs. After a few pics. it was quickly returned to the water. A short time later we were hooked up again only this fish couldn't compare to the first. I was able to land my first landlocked salmon ,about 10 inches long. It also was returned to the water. There were no more hits after that. We left the lake at 2. Lou.  Pics to follow.

Went out trolling Wed for a few hours caught a nice largemouth and one hold over brown both where released water temps where 56 at the top and 42 at 60ft of water
