It's one of the windows. I wanted them to swing out and up to keep out rain and snow.

MILLERMANKT, do you plan on leasing it out during the off season...
It is looking good... and comfy! If I had a situation or opportunity to use a blind, especially at my age, I'd be doing the same thing.
Best of luck this upcoming season!

I've been busy putting French drains in my backyard but found some time to work on my hunting blind. Got the roof on and my son's helped me get it on the trailer. I still need to build a stand to put it on. That shouldn't take long. Now if my wife stops getting new ideas I can go fishing

Looks great! Get it out there to weather a bit and it'll blend right in. The deer will get used to it pretty quickly.

Been playing around making some “old timey “ bobbers.
Think this is going to be my winter wood shop project.
Lots to learn here.

They’ve got a ways to go before I’m satisfied. I’m heading to a craft specialty store in the next week to research paints and finishes.
Turning them is no problem. Getting tithe finish I want is the only issue.
Those are all recycled wine corks....compliments of my Bride.

Somewhere I have a roll of quill floats. I used to make those. Great cold water panfish floats.
