Thanks guys! As always the fish will be the final judges but I think they'll work. I use Utube alot to see how to tie different patterns, it's a great resource especially if you're new to tying. Later Hex

Hex,
There's a wealth of info on fly tying on web.
Some of my favorites: Davey McPhail- Great tyer!!! A little difficult to understand as he's from Scottland I believe, but he's  really good, IMO. I've written him several times and he answers right away.
FlyAnglers Online. Fly Shack. Fly Fish Ohio. And many more.

Ya Teach I've been on most of those sites and more. Another good Tier  and ex-michigandor now in Montana is Kelly Galloup. He ties some wicked streamers and other stuff also. Check out FrostyFly.com for some awesome foam bodies and other materials. Their Hoppers look like they could bite you, been thinking about ordering some but haven't. Tater mentioned he would like to try tieing and these would be super easy and the most lifelike I've ever seen! Later Hex

Yes Kelly is good! I get a kick out of him. Talks a hundred miles a minute!

Well I've got my hopper arsenal together and we're heading to the cabin later this week. Hopefully the fish will still be on the feed and my flys will turn some heads. If not I'm planning on finishing up screening in the porch and finishing the siding. Here's a couple pictures of the final bugs! Hex
