Just some ribbon I found t Walmart. I'm not much into the artsy craft stuff, but the ladies love the little finishing touches. I gave one to a really nice coworker of mine today. She cried for pete's sake.

Made a couple more for another coworker, she has two little girls. Maybe they'll remember me one day.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

All we can ever hope is that we've lived well and will be remembered!   ;D

By the way Bill, I use the carbide tipped tools you made for me  a lot. They're super time savers. You did a really nice job on them.

Thanks,

Well, I spent the last couple mornings straightening out some stuff in the shop. Things can get out of hand pretty quickly when you're moving stuff in and out.

Still managed to turn a couple snowmen and took in a commission to turn some rosettes.

The garden is shut down and I'm perfectly happy to be in the little wood shop.

Finished the "puzzle Lamp"  it's pretty cool!

Been turning little snowmen and giving them to people at work.

They're really fun to turn and the ladies just love them.

Made a corner shelf for the "puzzle lamp" and some of my toys.

It's fun playing with the lamp the change the way it casts light and shadows.

I might make another in a different style. Doubt I'd try to sell any. Too labor intensive with my equipment. I'd have to charge a fortune. Besides, it's a hobby....not a job.

I've been having the pleasure of helping my son complete a "Puzzle Lamp" over the last couple weeks. He's got a little ways to go.
There's something special about teaching. Teaching your son is priceless.

Still making Christmas presents. Made this big snowman for my daughter. About 12" tall.

River stones for the eyes, nose and buttons. The corn cob pipe was a challenge. I was laughing all the time I was making it.
