No problem John....communists don't turn yoyo's.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Just finished a makeover inside the little Scotty camper. The interior always was the baby blue, walls and ceiling. We wanted a change, something that gave it more of a "camp" feeling. This is what we came up with. I applied wainscoting over the ceiling and back wall, and we'll leave the side walls original. It's just what we hoped for.

I also added a USB charger for our phones and replaced the old 12v incandescent bulb with LED.

My bride is working on new curtains and seat covers that are going to complete the package.

We're excited with the way it's all coming together.   ;D

I like it Bill. Very nice. My Bride and I spent many years in one of those at her parents camp property.

May you have many a happy evening by the fire.

New CBN wheels will finally be here today. They got stuck in Atlanta for a few days. Must be a mess down there. A lot of the USPS operations are still suspended. Anyway, I'll be able to complete the sharpening system setup and get on with turning stuff.

Been working on an urn for my Daughter. Her beloved Golden Retriever " Buster" passed a while back and she asked me to make something nice for him to rest in.

The body of the urn. Sepele, an African Mahogany in 8 segments.

I'll be turning the lid and base out of a hunk of Burled hard maple.

A sadly fun project.

Finished the top to the urn today.

Top is Kind of a flamed maple. I'm pleased with the outcome. A sadly satisfying project. "Buster " will have a nice resting place.

Started tinkering with another Christmas present idea.

It's a stackable lamp. Got the idea from a lady I was helping fill a list at the store. I finally got around to asking what she was creating and when she showed me the drawings and pictures, the bells went off in my head. The segments are all 1/2" thick and fit around a lit piece of frosted Lexan tubing. I've already made patterns for the pieces and cut out the squares. Yesterday I did some modifications to my router table to turn the circles. I need to pick up a down spiral router bit for this operation to make it safe.

I'll post some pics of the progress. It's a really fun build. I'm making 2. One for me and one for my son and his girl.
