I have been struggling to put consistent numbers of salmon in the net in the last week. So I looked hard at what I had been doing. It’s always concerned me while fishing skinny water about the boat spooking the fish. So I set my lines out to 120’ back with 20’ of 6 lb fluro and put the lines on Offshore Takle in-line boards as far out as 40-50’ from the boat.
It seemed to work great the rods started firing.
7 landed last evening from 4:15-7:20pm
Keep in mind I trolled 8.5 hrs on Sunday and didn’t fire a rod.
