Quick Laker Trip
« on: Sep 27, 2020, 12:09 PM »
Will and I snuck out for a few hours this morning and got about 10 lakers jigging. We did not take many pics but had a great time.

Chartreuse seemed to make a difference this morning... But as I am fond of saying "If it ain't chartreuse, it ain't no use!"

Very nice. Looks like the colors are coming out in the trees!

Will's expression in the photo cracks me up!

For a guy who just caught a big laker, he doesn't look very happy. ;D

Only a couple more weeks before the Q closes, and the laker fishing should pick up quick.  Heres one of Allans from today, he was killing them on the chartreuse bait.

If Will (Baitbucket) was a "Grumpy" as he looks in the pics, I would not fish with him!

He's definitely not grumpy. He was a very gracious pleasant host to me and wanted nothing in return.

Imagine that with someone he's never met in person!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Ive been out with a handful of guys ive met via this forum. I have never had a single issue with anyone. Other than the fish being picky a couple times lol.

Second that Will.  I've met up with at least 2 dozen members of MFF and Shanty and never had an issue.  Good group of people on both.

Chartreuse was the ticket for us on Winni Saturday. Lakers, rainbows and a few salmon. Nice work guys.

Any size to the rainbows at Wini?

Out here in our trout lakes they seem to disappear about 2 1/2 to 3 pounds.
